25 Random Things About Me: Feedback
Five people made positive comments. One person said that she was not prepared to make public disclosures. One person commented negatively.
The rest I have not heard from. Either they don't go into Facebook much, don't read things that they are sent, don't know how to respond; or else they were raised on the adage "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all," which is entirely possible because not everyone wants to know that much about me.
I found writing the 25 random things to be a liberating experience. It was like one of those exercises in self-revelation that we did in Cegep. I figure that if people don't want to know that much about me, they don't have to read it, and frankly this blog doesn't have much of a regular readership.
My cousin Vinnie forwarded the invitation to me, and I'm glad that he did. It was a useful exercise in letting random things come into my head (free association?), all of which, in some way have shaped who I am. The result is a snapshot of who I am. It's not complete, and yet there is something essential about it.
